BRANCHBURG, N.J. - January 14, 2010 - WebApps, Inc. a.k.a. SaaS.com (www.SaaS.com), a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) with a major push in Workforce Management Solutions, has recently exhibited at the Software & Information Industry Association's (SIIA) OnDemand Conference in San Jose. During the conference SaaS.com's CEO, Bill Loss, was selected by the SIIA to participate as a thought leader in a video presentation and explain his views on the key factors associated with driving revenue through a SaaS model. In the video, Loss provides three revenue driving tips in today's unique business climate which he considers important to SaaS-based organizations. The three areas he predominantly focuses on are prospects, customers and the industry. "With respect to communication, it's about getting simple and timely responses to what's going on in the market; learning industry trends, understanding what the competition is doing, and really gathering that information from both customers and partners alike," explains Loss. Loss also emphasizes the importance of the ease in which customers are able to conduct business with these organizations and the types of payment options or terms that can potentially be offered. In addition to Loss' involvement, other notable contributions came from Mike Riegel of IBM, Tom Cecere of Novell, Jeff Kaplan of ThinkStrategies, and Simon Peel of Cast Iron Systems. These presentations were recently uploaded to the SIIA website and other video distribution outlets throughout the Internet. This is the fourth year the association has conducted the OnDemand Conference and SaaS.com's third year participating. Loss, who has held a position as a member on the SIIA Software Division Board since 2007, also played an active role in this year's fourth annual OnDemand Steering Committee. According to the SIIA, "OnDemand is the industry's only comprehensive conference for enabling and delivering SaaS. The complete SaaS ecosystem is invited to participate, including independent software vendors (ISVs), platform vendors, systems integrators, venture capitalists and other bankers, analysts, press and other influencers." About SIIA - The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) is the principal trade association for the software and digital content industry.
